The Hundred 2026 Auction Details: Dates, Salary Cap, Slots, Broadcast

The Hundred is set for its first-ever player auction. Eight teams will fill in slots for their men’s and women’s sides.

So, here’s all you need to know about The Hundred 2026 auction.

When is The Hundred 2026 auction scheduled?

The Hundred 2026 auction will take place over two days at the Piccadilly Lights in London. 

The auction for women’s competition will happen on March 11, followed by the men’s on March 12. 

How many players are up for grabs?

Close to 1000 players had registered across men’s and women’s auctions. The list, however, has been pruned down to 425 players.

178 of those will be part of the women’s auction, with the remaining 247 up for grabs in the men’s section.

Have teams made any pre-signings?

Yep. Each team had the option to pre-sign four players each in their men’s and women’s sides.

All franchises pre-signed four men’s players each, with some women’s sides picking up four while a few signed three players each.

How many overseas players can each team sign?

Each Hundred franchise can sign up to four overseas players, up from three allowed in previous seasons.

What’s the salary cap in The Hundred 2026 auction? 

The salary cap has increased manifold. Each men’s side can spend a maximum of £2.05 million on their pre-signing and auction picks. The women’s sides carry a purse of £880,000.

Birmingham Phoenix walk in with a slightly bigger purse in the men’s auction, while Manchester Super Giants command the biggest purse in the women’s auction.

After the pre-signings, teams have the following amount available to spend in the auction:
