After wrapping up the 2025-26 season with the T20 World Cup victory, India now set their eyes on the next season.
The Men in Blue have a packed schedule in 2026-27, with many home and away fixtures.
Speaking of their home fixtures, they have four series to play this season. India will host the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and finally, Australia.
The series against Australia will be a big affair, while the one against Zimbabwe will be a historic one. In all, the Indian men will play 22 matches across three formats.
And here’s a breakdown of India’s 2026-27 home season cricket schedule.
India vs West Indies | September-October 2026
India will first host the West Indies. They will take on the Caribbean side in a white-ball series. ODIs will take place first, followed by T20Is.
So how many ODIs? And T20Is? The ODI series consists of three matches. The first of those games will take place on September 27 in Trivandrum.
Guwahati will host the second one-dayer on September 30. New Chandigarh, meanwhile, will make its ODI debut with the last game on October 3.
Both teams will then move to Lucknow to kick off the T20I leg. The first match is on October 6, with the second scheduled on October 9 in Ranchi.
Indore will stage the third T20I on October 11, while Hyderabad will host the fourth match on October 14. The series will end in Bengaluru with the final T20I on October 17.

India vs Sri Lanka | December 2026
After returning from New Zealand, India will host Sri Lanka. It’s another white-ball series. There are three ODIs and three T20Is.
As usual, ODIs will take place first, with the first match on December 13 in Delhi. Bengaluru hosts another game this home season, with the second ODI on December 16. The ODI leg concludes in Ahmedabad on December 19.
The focus will then shift to the T20I leg, with the first match on December 22 in Rajkot. Cuttack will host the second T20I on December 24, while Pune will close out the series on December 27.

India vs Zimbabwe | January 2027
India will ring in 2027 with a historic ODI series against Zimbabwe. Historic, why? Cause this will be the first ODI series between both sides in India since 2002.
The first one-dayer will take place on January 3 in Kolkata. Hyderabad will host the second ODI on January 6, with the final match in Mumbai on January 9.

India vs Australia | January-March 2027
After a short break, India will face Australia in the spicy Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). The series features five Test matches.
Nagpur will kick off the series with the first Test scheduled between January 21 and 27. Both teams will head south for the second Test in Chennai starting January 29.
A 10-day break will follow before the action resumes in Guwahati on February 11. Ranchi will host the fourth Test starting February 19, while the home season will conclude in Ahmedabad with the final Test between February 27 and March 3.
