The summer of 2024-25 will be thrilling for Australian men’s and women’s teams as they lock horns with formidable opponents.
Australia’s men’s team will take on Pakistan in a limited-overs series and battle out against India in an intense Test series. On the other hand, Australia’s women’s team will face New Zealand and India in ODIs and T20Is, followed by the Ashes against rival England.

Australia’s trans-Tasman neighbour New Zealand will tour down under for a women’s T20I series involving 3 games.
Mackay will host the first 2 T20Is on September 19 and 22, while Brisbane will stage the third game on September 24.

Australia Women vs India Women | December 2024
The ODI series against India women will collide with the second men’s Test match between Australia and India in December 2024.
The first and second ODI matches will take place in Brisbane on December 5 and 8. Perth’s WACA will host the third ODI match on December 11.
Women’s Ashes | January – February 2025
The much-anticipated Women’s Ashes between Australia women and England women will get underway in January 2025.
The multi-format series will begin with the first ODI match on January 12 in Sydney. Melbourne’s Junction Oval will host the second game on January 14, while Hobart will host the third on January 17.
The first T20I match will be played at the SCG in Sydney on January 20. Manuka Oval will play host to the second T20I on January 23, followed by the third game in Adelaide on January 25.
Australia women’s home schedule will conclude with the 4-day Test match scheduled to be played at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) from January 30.

Australia vs Pakistan | November 2024
Australia’s men’s team will kick off the proceedings with a limited-over series against Pakistan. Both teams will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
MCG will host the first ODI on November 4, followed by the second match on November 8 at Adelaide Oval. Perth will play host to the third ODI on November 10.
The T20I series will get underway on November 14, with Brisbane hosting the first game. Sydney Cricket Ground will stage the second T20I on November 16 and Hobart will host the third game on November 18.

Australia vs India | November 2024 – January 2025
After concluding the Pakistan series, attention will shift towards the all-important Border Gavaskar Trophy against India.
The mouth-watering 5-match Test series will kick off on November 22 in Perth. The action will move to Adelaide Oval for the Day-Night Test starting on December 6.
Brisbane’s Gabba will be decked up to host the third Test match from December 14 onwards. After a week’s gap, MCG will host the traditional Boxing Day Test starting on December 26.
The series will conclude with Sydney hosting the New Year Test starting on January 3. That will also mark the end of the Australian men’s home summer schedule.
