
Australia will start their 2026-27 home season earlier this time. They will start things off in mid-August before they end the season with a historic one-off Test in March.
In between, the Aussies will play 15 matches across three formats. Seven of those are red-ball fixtures, while eight are limited-overs games.

Australia vs Bangladesh | August 2026
Australia will host another Test series up north in winter. This time, Bangladesh will visit for two Tests.
Notably, this will be the first Test series between both sides in Australia since 2003. That series also took place in the Northern Territory and Queensland.
This time as well, Darwin will host the first Test starting August 13. The second Test, meanwhile, will take place in Mackay starting August 22.

Australia vs England | November-December 2026
After being on the road for two months, the kangaroos will return home in November. They will face rivals England, though not in Tests this time. Rather, they will play three ODIs and five T20Is.
The first ODI will take place on November 13 in Perth. Adelaide Oval will host the second one-dayer on November 15, while Hobart will stage the last match on November 18.
Both teams will then jump to some T20I action. The one-lakh seater Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) will host the first 20-over game on November 21.
Gold Coast will stage the second T20I on November 24, while Brisbane will host the third match on November 27. The fourth T20I will take place on November 29 in Sydney, while the series will conclude in Canberra on December 2.

Australia vs New Zealand | December 2026-January 2027
Australia will immediately return to red-ball action. They will host trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand for a four-Test series.
As usual, Perth will host the opening Test from December 9 to 13. The second Test will take place in Adelaide starting December 17.
MCG will host the traditional Boxing Day Test between December 26 and 30. The series will conclude with the New Year Test in Sydney between January 4 and 8.

Australia vs England | March 2027
Australia and England will face each other once again this season, although this one’s a one-off encounter. Both teams will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first Test match played back in 1877.
The Aussies will take on England in a one-off day-night Test at the MCG. The pink ball Test will take place between March 11 and 15.
