After starting 2025 with a thumping series win over India, Australia will look to have a bumper year. The Australian men will be in action throughout 2025, with several important series on the line, including two ICC trophies.
They have been through to their consecutive World Test Championship (WTC) final, while they will square off in the Champions Trophy before that. The exciting Ashes will also spice things up towards the end of the year as Aussies aim to retain the trophy.

Sri Lanka vs Australia | January-February 2025 (Away)
Australia will tour Sri Lanka for two weeks. The series itinerary includes two Tests and as many ODIs.
The two-match Test series is the last bilateral series of the WTC 2023-25 cycle, while the couple of ODIs will prepare both teams for the upcoming Champions Trophy. The Tests will take place in Galle starting January 29, while Colombo will host the one-dayers on February 12 and 14.
Champions Trophy | February-March 2025 (Away)
After wrapping up the Sri Lanka tour, the Aussies will fly to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025. They are part of Group B, which features Afghanistan, England, and South Africa.
Australia’s first match will be against rivals England on February 22, while they will take on South Africa and Afghanistan on February 25 and 28, respectively.
WTC Final | June 2025 (Away)
As mentioned earlier, Australia secured their spot in the WTC Final 2025 earlier in the year. This will be their second appearance in the ultimate one-off Test, with their last outing landing them the WTC Mace.
From June 11 to 15, the Australian men will battle it out against South Africa at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. Australia have a golden chance to retain their title.
West Indies vs Australia | June-July 2025 (Away)
After the WTC Final, the Kangaroos will travel to the Caribbean Islands. They will commence their WTC 2025-27 cycle with a three-match Test series against West Indies. Then both teams will lock horns in a five-match T20I series in July.
Australia vs South Africa | August 2025 (Home)
Australia will return home and host South Africa for a limited-overs series in August. Both teams will face each other in three ODIs and three T20Is in northern Australia.
New Zealand vs Australia | October 2025 (Away)
After a small break, Australia will make a quick trip across the Tasman Sea. They will play three T20I matches against New Zealand in October.

Australia vs India | October-November 2025 (Home)
Australia will start their 2025 home summer season by hosting India for a limited-overs series. After routing India by 3-1 in the Test series in 2024-25, the hosts will look to replicate the same results in ODIs and T20Is.
Australia will take on India in three ODIs and five T20I matches across October and November.

Australia vs England | November-December 2025 (Home)
The attention will then shift towards the Ashes 2025-26. It will be a thrilling encounter as Australia host England for a five-match Test series.
Perth will set things rolling on November 21, with Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney staging the next matches. The series will end in early 2026 after the New Year Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
