After a hiatus of seven years, the exciting Hong Kong Cricket Sixes tournament is making a comeback in November 2024. The tournament organised by Cricket Hong Kong will take place between November 1 and 3.
As many as 12 teams will participate in this six-a-side contest. The 20th edition of the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes will see teams battle it out in 29 matches, including the knockouts.
All the group stage and knockout matches will take place at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong. Many prominent players from international cricket teams are participating in the competition.

As mentioned earlier, 12 teams will feature in the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2024. Eight of them are Test-playing nations, while the remaining four are associate members.

South Africa are the defending champions of the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes. The Proteas won the competition in 2017, which was the last edition.

Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2024: Format
The 12 participating teams are clubbed into four pools of three sides each. Teams will play against their pool members once in the group stage.
After the group stage, the top two teams from each pool will move into the Quarter-Final. The bottom-ranked teams, on the other hand, will play in six Bowl matches.
The winners of the Quarter-Finals will advance to the Cup Semi-Finals, while the losers will play in the Plate Semi-Finals. There will be finals for the Bowl, Plate, and Cup competitions on November 3.
