Ahead of the much anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024/25 series, India A will tour Australia in October-November 2024.
India A will play three red-ball matches in the tour. It includes two first-class matches against their Australian counterparts and one warm-up game against the senior Indian team.
The Australia A vs India A 2024 series begins on October 31, with Mackay hosting the first unofficial Test. The second match will take place at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground starting on November 7. Both are four-day first-class games.
After their two matches against Australia A, India A will engage in a three-day warm-up game against India at Perth’s WACA Ground. The match will start on November 15 and provide much-needed game practice ahead of the BGT versus Australia.
Indian selectors will have their eyes on the tour, as a few players stand a chance to be added to the senior men’s team for the BGT.
