When the Indian men take on Australian men in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024/25, Indian women will also tour Australia for an ODI series in December 2024.
The Women in Blue will be up against host Australia women in a three-match ODI series. The series is part of the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship, which acts as a World Cup qualifier.
India women have already qualified for the 2025 World Cup by being the hosts. But India will challenge Australian women to maintain their top spot in the points table.
The ODI series will start on December 5, with Brisbane’s Allan Border Field hosting the first match. The second ODI will also take place at the same venue on December 8. Perth’s WACA Ground will stage the third ODI on December 11.
The first and third matches are day-night affairs, while the second ODI is a day game.
