The Indian men’s cricket team is going to have a packed schedule in 2025. They will play in back-to-back bilateral series, with two multi-nation tournaments crammed in between.
India will start the year with limited-overs cricket before they kick off the World Test Championships (WTC) 2025-27 cycle in June. The Men in Blue will feature in 10 Tests, 12 ODIs, and 18 T20Is. Plus, India will also participate in the Champions Trophy in February-March 2025 and host the Asia Cup later in the year.

India vs England | January-February 2025 (Home)
India will host England for a limited-overs series in late January till mid-February. Both teams will face each other in five T20Is and three ODIs over three weeks.
The T20Is will take place first between January 22 and February 2, while the one-dayers follow between February 6 and 12. The ODIs will help India and England get in the momentum for the Champions Trophy 2025.
Champions Trophy | February-March (Away)
The ICC has revived the Champions Trophy, with the 50-over event returning after eight years. Pakistan are the official hosts, but India will play all their matches in Dubai, including the semi-final and final (if they qualify).
India are part of Group A, and they will play against Bangladesh (Feb 20), Pakistan (Feb 23), and New Zealand (Mar 2). If India qualifies for the knockouts, they will play in the first semi-final on March 4, while the final will take place on March 9.

England vs India | June-August (Away)
Once the IPL 2025 concludes after two months of action, the Indian men will fly to England. Both teams will square off in a five-match Test series starting June 20.
With that, India and England will commence the WTC 2025-27 cycle. Leeds, Birmingham, Lord’s, Manchester, and The Oval will host the five Tests, respectively, with the series concluding in early August.
Bangladesh vs India | August (Away)
After the England tour, India will immediately land in Bangladesh for a white-ball series. They will take on the neighbours in three ODIs and as many T20Is.
India vs West Indies | October (Home)
In October, India will begin their home season. They will host West Indies for a two-match Test series.
This will be India’s first home Test series and overall the second of their WTC 2025-27 campaign.

Asia Cup | October (Home)
India will stage the men’s Asia Cup after almost 35 years. It was back in 1990-91 that India hosted the continental championship in ODI format.
This time, it will be a T20I tournament, with six Asian teams featuring in it. The Men in Blue will be keen to defend their title and remain the champions of Asia.
Australia vs India | November (Away)
After a crushing 1-3 defeat in the Test series on their last tour, India will fly to Australia for a limited-overs leg in November. Australia and India will tussle in three ODIs and five T20Is during the peak Australian summer.
India vs South Africa | November-December (Home)
The Men in Blue will wrap up 2025 with an all-format series against South Africa. India will take on the Proteas in two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is.
The Test and T20I legs of the series will be in focus with the fourth WTC cycle and the 2026 T20 World Cup in focus.
