IPL 2025 Auction: Complete Squads of All IPL Teams

The IPL 2025 Auction opened with some intense bidding war over marquee players. And the trend continued for the rest of the auction held at Abady Al Johar Arena in Jeddah.

The 12 marquee players headlined the auction, with Arsheep Singh being the first to go under the hammer. The Indian seamer returned to Punjab Kings (PBKS) at INR 18 crore with the franchise exercising the RTM card.

Two captaincy potentials Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer bagged some hefty deals moving to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), respectively. Pant broke all the records to become the most expensive buy at INR 27 crore, followed by Iyer at INR 26.75 crore.

Venkatesh Iyer was the other player to get a 20+ crore bid, with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) going all in for their former player. They bought the left-hand batter for INR 23.75 crore.

Chennai Super Kings

The highlight for CSK was the homecoming of R. Ashwin and Sam Curran. They purchased the ace Indian spinner for INR 9.75 crore and the English all-rounder for INR 2.40 crore.

CSK bought back Devon Conway for 6.25 crore and used RTM for Rachin Ravindra at INR 4 crore. The franchise bolstered their spin attack by adding Noor Ahmed for INR 10 crore.

Delhi Capitals

Delhi snapped up KL Rahul for 14 crore while using RTM for Jake Fraser-McGurk at INR 9 crore. They also went all in to acquire the services of Mitchell Starc for INR 11.75 crore.

DC have solidified their pace attack by adding T Natarajan, Mukesh Kumar, and Mohit Sharma.

Gujarat Titans 

Jos Buttler headlined Gujarat auction proceedings, getting a winning bid of INR 15.75 crore. They replenished their pace attack by getting Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Siraj, Gerald Coetzee, and Prasidh Krishna.

KKR were so adamant about getting Venkatesh Iyer back in the squad. They spent a whopping INR 23.75 crore on the all-rounder. They added two wicketkeepers and potential opening options, Quinton de Kock and Rahmanullah Gurbaz.

The Ricky Ponting-led PBKS management kept the paddle up for Shreyas Iyer in an intense bidding war. They acquired the batter and their future captain for INR 26.75 crore.

PBKS went after Australian players, adding Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, and Josh Inglish to the squad. They also used RTM for Arshdeep Singh, getting him back for INR 18 crore.

RR included two Indian seamers, Akash Madhwal and Tushar Deshpande, bolstering their pace attack.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru

RCB made some high-profile signings. They strengthened their fast bowling stock with Josh Hazlewood, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Rasikh Dar Salam.

They found Glenn Maxwell’s replacement in Liam Livingstone for INR 8.75 crore. And they signed two wicketkeepers, Phil Salt and Jitesh Sharma.
