The Major League Cricket (MLC) 2026 has started with a bang. As usual, six teams are playing across three venues in the USA.
Here’s all you need to know about the venues for MLC 2026.
Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas
This is where the MLC began in 2023. And the venue continues to be the centrepiece of all the action.
The Grand Prairie Stadium is the home ground for Texas Super Kings. It has a seating capacity of around 7,000 spectators.
The venue will host 15 matches across two legs, with the first between June 18 and 21, followed by the second between July 8 and 12.
Oakland Coliseum
Oakland Coliseum will host MLC games for the second season in a row. It was once a baseball stadium, but now hosts San Francisco Unicorns.
The venue has two drop-in pitches, used in the 2024 T20 World Cup. And it’s one of the largest cricket stadiums in the USA, with a seating capacity of 12,000.
The venue will stage 12 matches this season, with eight games in the second leg and the four playoff matches.
Fairgrounds Cricket Stadium
We have a debutant this season. Fairgrounds Cricket Stadium in Pomona, California, will host the MLC matches for the first time.
The venue is also known as the Knight Riders Cricket Ground. And it serves as the home ground for the Los Angeles Knight Riders.
The venue is 50 kilometres east of downtown Los Angeles. And it will host cricket matches at the 2028 Olympics.
Speaking of MLC 2026, the 5000-seater venue hosts seven games in its first appearance.
