New Zealand Men’s & Women’s Cricket Team Schedule for 2024-25 Home Summer

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has announced a power-packed schedule for both men’s and women’s teams for the 2024-25 home summer season.

The Blackcaps will host England, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan, while the White Ferns will take on Australia and Sri Lanka in an exciting home summer.

Here we’ll look at the New Zealand men’s and women’s cricket team schedule for the 2024-25 home summer season.

New Zealand vs England | November – December 2024

The Blackcaps will kick start their 2024-25 home summer season by hosting England for a 3-match Test series.

The first Test will begin on November 28 in Christchurch, with Wellington hosting the second on December 6 and Hamilton decking up for the third starting on December 14.

This remains the only Test series part of New Zealand’s home series in their own backyard.

New Zealand vs Sri Lanka | December 2024 – January 2025

After England’s departure, the Kiwis will take on Sri Lanka in 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs. Tauranga will flag off the T20I leg by hosting the first 2 T20Is on December 28 and 30, with Nelson playing host to the third match on January 2, 2025.

The touring party will then head to Basin Reserve for the first ODI scheduled for January 5. Hamilton and Auckland will host the second and third ODIs on January 8 and 11, respectively.

New Zealand vs Pakistan | March – April 2025

After wrapping up the Champions Trophy early in March, New Zealand will host Pakistan for 8 limited-overs games. The series includes 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs.

The series opener will take place in Christchurch on March 16, with Dunedin (Mar 18), Auckland (Mar 21), Tauranga (Mar 23), and Wellington (Mar 26) hosting the other 4 T20Is.

The first ODI match will take place in Napier on March 29. Hamilton will be staged for the second ODI on April 2. The third ODI in Tauranga on April 5 will conclude New Zealand’s home summer.

New Zealand Women vs Australia Women | December 2024

The White Ferns will take on their trans-Tasman rivals in a 3-match ODI series before Christmas 2024.

Wellington’s Basin Reserve will host all 3 matches against Australia women starting on December 19, with the second and third ODIs scheduled on December 21 and 23, respectively.

New Zealand Women vs Sri Lanka Women | March 2025

Like the men’s series, the New Zealand and Sri Lanka women’s series also follows the same itinerary of 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.

Napier will host the first ODI match on March 4, while the second and third ODIs will take place in Nelson on March 7  and 9, respectively.

Christchurch is slated to host the first 2 T20Is on March 14 and 16, while Dunedin will play host to the last game on March 18.

New Zealand Women vs Australia Women | March 2025

After their ODI series in December 2024, Australia women will return for a 3-match T20I series in March 2025.

The first T20I is scheduled to take place on March 21 in Auckland. The second match will be staged in Tauranga on March 23, with the third set to be played in Wellington on March 26.
