Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will organise a women’s tri-series in April-May 2025. Sri Lanka Women will play host to India Women and South Africa Women for some ODI action.
The triangular series will act as a preparation for the 2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup scheduled in India. All three teams will look to fix some holes ahead of the big tournament.
The tri-series will start on April 27, 2025, with Sri Lanka taking on India in the series opener. There will be seven ODI matches in the tri-series, with a double round-robin format in place.
Teams will meet each other twice, with an eye on the series final. The top two teams will head straight into the final. The tri-series will conclude with the summit clash on May 11, 2025.
The entirety of the Sri Lanka Women’s ODI Tri-Series 2025 will take place at the R. Premadasa Stadium (RPS) in Colombo.
