Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025: Schedule, Teams, Format, Venues, and Broadcast Details

India will kickstart the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, scheduled at home on September 30, 2025. The hosts will square off against neighboring Sri Lanka in Bengaluru.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the itinerary for the women’s 50-over event on June 16, 2025. It will be a 31-match affair spanning over a month.

While India are the official hosts, Sri Lanka’s Colombo will also stage some games, possibly even a semi-final and the final. Before the main event gets underway, teams will also feature in two warm-up games each to tune up with the conditions.

The tournament will come to an end on November 2, with the final played in Bengaluru or Colombo (based on Pakistan’s qualification).
