On September 3, 2024, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the schedule of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 Final match.
Right now, the tournament is shaping up nicely, with half the cycle done and the remaining half lined up with exciting red-ball cricket.
All 9 Test nations will be in action over the next 6-7 months, with the 2 finalists to be clear by March 2025.

WTC Final 2025 Venue and Dates
The ICC unveiled the venue for the summit clash. The renowned Lord’s Cricket Ground in London will host the one-off ultimate Test.
Previously, Southampton and The Oval carried the hosting duties for the 2021 and 2023 finals, respectively.
The Lord’s will witness the WTC Final 2025 between June 11 and 15. The governing body has marked June 16 as a reserve day in case any unavoidable circumstances interrupt play on the designated 5 days.
The top 2 teams on the WTC points table will assemble at the Home of Cricket to determine the World Test Champions. In the first 2 cycles, New Zealand (2021) and Australia (2023) successfully lifted the Test mace by beating India.
