On January 17, 2025, the BCCI released the schedule for the much-anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025. The WPL will enter its third edition this year, with the first two seasons tasting great success.
Five WPL franchises will return in action in February-March 2025, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) keen to defend their title. RCB will open the tournament on February 14 as Gujarat Giants (GG) host them in Vadodara.
Like the previous two seasons, the third WPL iteration will feature 22 games spread over 30 days. All matches will take place at 7:30 PM, with a few breaks in the schedule according to the Indian men’s teams Champions Trophy 2025 fixtures.
After 20 league stage games, the top team will cruise into the final, while the No. 2 and No. 3 teams will square off in the eliminator. Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium will host the knockouts, with the final scheduled for March 15, 2025.
