IPL 2026: Complete Venue List

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season is in full swing. All teams have set their eyes on the bigger prize.

But they will face some challenges along the way as they play at different venues and surfaces. Each team will travel across India at 13 venues, the same as last year.

That said, here’s a look at all the 13 venues selected for IPL 2026.

Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi

Delhi Capitals (DC) will play all their home fixtures at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The venue will host seven games, with two of them being afternoon matches.

The venue offers a balanced track, although shorter boundaries help batters.

Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati

Guwahati is set to host IPL games for another season. They will host Rajasthan Royals for three games.

Guwahati tends to favour fast bowlers with enough pace and bounce on offer.

Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee (BRSABV) Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will return to Ekana Cricket Stadium for IPL 2026. They will play seven home fixtures at this venue.

The venue offers tricky surfaces, with a bit more help for bowlers. The surface generally becomes slow, making run chases slightly difficult.

Eden Gardens, Kolkata

The iconic Eden Gardens will deck up for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) home games. KKR will take the field seven times at this venue.

Eden Gardens tends to produce batter-friendly surfaces, with some initial help for the fast bowlers.

Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala

IPL returns to Dharamsala once again. Punjab Kings will play three of their seven home matches at the beautiful Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium.

Fast bowlers often find decent help here, with some early swing on offer thanks to the high-altitude.

M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

There was a bit of uncertainty over Bengaluru hosting matches in IPL 2026. But as the Karnataka State government cleared the decks, BCCI confirmed rosters at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will play five home games here, instead of seven. It’s a high-scoring venue, with conditions favouring batters.

MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai

Chepauk will turn yellow to cheer for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The five-time champions will host seven home games at this venue.

The surface at Chepauk is traditionally known for its slow, spin-friendly nature. But things have changed in the last couple of seasons with batters finding enough help.

Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh

Punjab’s main home base will be in New Chandigarh. They will play four of their home fixtures here.

New Chandigarh has a balanced surface, with batters and bowlers finding equal advantage.

Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad

The largest cricket stadium in the world will be ready to host Gujarat Titans (GT). The Titans will play seven home games at this one-lakh-seater venue.

Apart from its vast size, the pitch is a heaven for batters, though spinners find help in the second half.

Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad

Hyderabad will gear up to see some high-scoring games in IPL 2026. Home side, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), will make the most of the conditions in seven games.

The venue has been producing high-scoring games of late, with batters hitting the ball all over the park.

Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur

Jaipur was uncertain about hosting any matches this season, as RR were looking for alternative home grounds. But the Royals stuck to their original home ground.

They will play four games on this surface, which offers balanced pitches for batters and bowlers.

Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur

Raipur is set to host IPL games after a long time. The venue will act as a home ground for RCB.

They will play two of their home games here, with the venue offering similar conditions to those of Bengaluru.

Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

Mumbai’s iconic Wankhede Stadium wraps up the venues for IPL 2026. The venue will host Mumbai Indians’ seven home matches.

With shorter boundaries and batter-friendly surfaces, the venue often produces high-scoring games.
