Rishabh Pant to DC – Kuldeep Yadav to LSG

After two average seasons with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Rishabh Pant returns home. He will once again turn up for Delhi Capitals (DC) in IPL 2027, though with a massive pay cut.

The wicketkeeper-batter moves back to DC at INR 15 crore. That’s a pay cut of INR 12 crore after LSG bought him for INR 27 crore in the IPL 2025 auction.

Pant moves back in a player swap deal with Kuldeep Yadav, who will now play for the team from his state. LSG have traded in the leg spinner at INR 13.50 crore, leaving them with another INR 13.75 crore to spend in the upcoming auction.

T Natarajan to SRH – Zeeshan Ansari to DC

DC made another player swap deal, this one with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). They have traded in Zeeshan Ansari in place of T Natarajan.

DC shelled out INR 40 lakh for Ansari, who will more likely fill the void left by Kuldeep’s departure. Ansari, notably, didn’t play a match last season after making his IPL debut in 2025.

Nataraja, meanwhile, returns to SRH after two seasons with DC. He moves back at INR 5 crore.

Liam Livingstone-Jack Edwards to CSK – Khaleel Ahmed-Nathan Ellis to SRH

SRH got busy again with a four-player trade deal with CSK. They have traded out Liam Livingstone and Jack Edwards for two quality pacers in Khaleel Ahmed and Nathan Ellis.

By trading out Livingstone, SRH have also gained INR 9.2 crore, as the English all-rounder moves to CSK at INR 6 crore. SRH had bought him for INR 13 crore in the last auction.

Edwards, meanwhile, moves for INR 3 crore to his new franchise. He is yet to make his IPL debut, though he recently made his international debut for Australia.

For Ahmed, it’s a sort of homecoming, returning to his first IPL franchise at INR 4.8 crore. Ellis joins his third franchise at INR 3 crore.
