In the lead-up to the Indian men’s team tour of England 2025, ‘A’ teams of both nations will square off in an unofficial Test series. England will host India A for a two-match unofficial Test series in May-June 2025.
Both teams will take on each other in two four-day first-class matches. The series will begin on May 30, 2025.
The first four-day match will take place between May 30 and June 2 in Canterbury. Northampton will stage the other red-ball game between June 6 and 9.
After the series, India A will stay back in England to play a four-day match against the senior Indian team. Both teams will play a practice match between June 13 and 16 in Beckenham.
Abhimanyu Easwaran will captain India A, while James Rew will lead England Lions. India’s new Test skipper, Shubman Gill, will also be in action in the second game.
