After the IPL concludes, the attention will shift towards the England vs India Test Series scheduled between June and August 2025. It’s a high-profile series, as both teams will kick off the WTC 2025-27 cycle.
India’s tour will begin on June 13, 2025, with an intra-squad practice match. The seniors will be up against India A in a four-day match at Beckenham.
After a three-day break, the main series will start on June 20 at Headingley. This will be India’s first Test match under the new captain, Shubman Gill.
A weeklong break will follow before the action shifts to Edgbaston from July 2 onwards. The Lord’s Cricket Ground will stage the third match from July 10.
There will be another weeklong rest before the fourth Test scheduled at Old Trafford from July 23. The last match of the series will take place at the Oval from July 31.
