The Indian Women’s cricket team will be playing 2 back-to-back series in the 2023-24 home season. After the conclusion of the England series, India will host the Australian Women’s cricket team for a multi-format series between December 2023 and January 2024.
The India Women vs Australia Women multi-format series will include a one-off Test match, 3 ODIs, and 3 T20Is. Like the England series, this series will also take place in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, with the Wankhede Stadium hosting the Test and ODIs and the DY Patil Stadium staging the T20Is.
The India Women vs Australia Women 2023-24 series will commence on December 21, 2023, with the 4-day Test match played in the Wankhede Stadium. Both teams will play a Test match after almost 40 years in India.
After the one-off Test, both teams will square off in a 3-match ODI series. The first match will take place on December 28, the second on December 30, and the last match is scheduled for January 2, 2024. This ODI series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship.
Then the attention will move towards the thrilling 3-match T20I series hosted at the DY Patil Stadium. The first T20I match will be played on January 5, while the second match will take place on January 7. The series will conclude on January 9 after the last T20I match.
