Format of Cricket World Cup Qualifiers
The tournament will see 34 ODI matches played over 19 days. Each team will play 4 games in the group stage in a single round-robin format.
The top three teams from each group will then play in the Super Six. Each team will play against the three teams from the opposite group.
Then, the top two sides of the Super Six will book their places in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. However, the top two teams will square off in the tournament final to take home the CWC Qualifier trophy. But the result of the final won’t affect the qualification of the teams.
