A week into February, India will start their title defence in the T20 World Cup 2026. They will play the majority of their matches in India, with a fixture against Pakistan set in Sri Lanka.
India’s first match is against the USA on February 7, followed by clashes against Namibia (Feb 12), Pakistan (Feb 15), and the Netherlands (Feb 18).

New Zealand vs India | October-December 2026 (Away)
India will depart for New Zealand in late October. They will be away for an all-format series.
The itinerary includes two WTC Tests, five ODIs and five T20Is. India will look to avenge the 2024 home Test series loss while meeting the Kiwis in the white-ball games for the second time this year.
Both teams will first lock horns in the limited overs games. The T20I leg will start the tour on October 22 in Christchurch, with the next T20I also at the same venue on October 24.
Then Wellington will stage the third T20I on October 27, followed by the fourth and fifth T20Is in Auckland and Hamilton on October 30 and November 1.
Both teams will be back in Auckland to begin the ODI leg on November 4. The action returns to Welligton and Hamilton for the second and third one-dayers on November 7 and 10, respectively. Mount Maunganui will host the last two ODIs on November 13 and 15.
