The IPL 2024 will start on March 22. After a two-year gap, Hardik Pandya will be seen playing for the Mumbai Indians (MI) once again. This season, he is the captain of MI and aims to conquer the IPL 2024 trophy, just as he did for the Gujarat Titans (GT) in 2022.
The MI team will land on Ahmedabad’s soil on March 24, playing their opening match against GT. The interesting thing about this match is that Hardik was the ex-captain of that team, and now it’s his turn to lead MI to victory once again.
After the opening match, MI will face the 2016 champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). This match will be played at SRH’s home ground, the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, on March 27.
The MI team will then return home to play two back-to-back home games at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. On April 1st, MI will face the Rajasthan Royals (RR) at 7:30 PM, and on the following Sunday, April 7th, they will have a blockbuster clash against Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals (DC) at 3:30 PM.
