2021 | Oval Invincibles
The men’s and women’s Hundred tournaments took place adjacently in the inaugural season. Oval Invincibles and Southern Brave clashed in the inaugural final at the iconic Lord’s Stadium.
After being asked to bat first, the Invincibles posted a fighting 121 in 100 balls. While chasing the target, the Brave found themselves on two runs for three wickets, as their top three batters went on ducks.
That early setback completely threw them out of the match, as they were skittled for 73 runs. The 48-run win helped Oval Invincibles win the inaugural Women’s Hundred Competition.
2022 | Oval Invincibles
The second season again put the Invincibles and the Brave against each other in the final. But the result was similar to that of the previous season’s final, with the Invincibles emerging as the winners.
This time, Southern Brave decided to bat first and went on to post 101 runs on the scoreboard. In response, the Invincibles had a bumpy start as they lost their openers cheaply.
However, Alice Capsey and Marizanne Kapp steadied their ship, helping the team to go over the ropes. With that, Oval Invincibles got their hands on the trophy in a row.
2023 | Southern Brave
Southern Brave made it to their third successive final in the 2023 season. Thankfully, they didn’t face off against Oval Invincibles, putting their bad luck behind them to win their maiden title.
Northern Superchargers asked the Brave to bat first and their batters came out strong. Danni Wyatt’s 59 and Freya Kemp’s blistering 31 off 17 helped the Brave put up 139 on the board.
In reply, the Superchargers kept losing wickets at regular intervals, and eventually, they were bowled out for 105 runs. Southern Brave won the final match by 34 runs to win the trophy after two missed chances.
2024 | London Spirit
London Spirit and Welsh Fire made it to their maiden Women’s Hundred final in the 2024 edition. London’s captain Heather Knight won the toss and asked Welsh Fire to bat first.
Welsh could muster only 115 runs in the stipulated 100 balls. Barring captain Tammy Beaumont (21), Hayley Matthews (22) and Jess Jonassen (54), no other batter scored more than five runs for Welsh.
With a chasable target in sight, London fumbled in the beginning. But Georgia Redmayne (34) and captain Knight (24) put their team back on track.
Later, Danielle Gibson blasted a nine-ball 22, further pushing them towards the target. With four needed off three balls, Deepti Sharma smashed a six to hand London Spirit their maiden Women’s Hundred trophy.
2025 | Northern Superchargers
The 2025 final was the rematch of the 2023 title clash. Southern Brave were the champions back then. And they looked determined to win another one this time.
But Northern Superchargers didn’t let that happen. First, they restricted the Brave to a modest 115 for 6. Kate Cross and Annabel Sutherland (2/23 each) chipped in with two wickets for the Superchargers.
In response, the Superchargers didn’t get an expected start. But Phoebe Litchfield’s quick 26, Nicola Carey’s 35* and Sutherland’s composed 28 saw them cruise over the target with ease.
2026 | Trent Rockets
The Superchargers, now rebranded as Sunrisers Leeds, made it to consecutive finals. This time, they were up against Trent Rockets.
The Sunrisers had a great chance to add a trophy under a new name. But that opportunity slipped away drastically.
They were 18 for 2, then 62 for 7 and finally 91 all-out. Georgia Adams (2/9), Charley Phillips (2/12), Samantha Bates (2/17) and Kim Garth (2/18) starred with the ball for the Rockets.
In reply, the Rockets had a flying start. Sophia Dunkley (41) and Beth Mooney (31*) set up an easy chase to help the Rockets lift their first Hundred women’s title.
