South Africa Men’s Cricket Team 2026 Complete Schedule

South Africa bid adieu to a memorable 2025. The highlight of the year was, obviously, their World Test Championship (WTC) triumph. The Proteas beat Australia to win only their second ICC title.

If that wasn’t enough, South Africa wrapped up the year with a remarkable Test series win in India. This was only their second Test series victory on Indian soil.

Now, the Proteas will look to carry the momentum in 2026, given there’s another ICC tournament scheduled early in the year. Plus, they have some important Test assignments lined up later at home.

So, here’s a look at South Africa’s international cricket schedule in 2026.

South Africa vs West Indies | January-February 2026 (Home)

The Proteas will start their 2026 schedule in late January 2026 after the SA20 season. The first up will be the West Indies.

South Africa and the West Indies will take on each other in three T20Is. This was supposed to be a five-match series. But due to a cramped schedule, the Proteas had to cut down two T20Is.

Nevertheless, the short series will help both teams fine-tune for the T20 World Cup 2026. The first T20I is on January 27 in Paarl, while Centurion will host the second T20I on January 29.

Johannesburg will wrap up the series with the third T20I on February 1. South Africa will wear the pink jersey for the last T20I.

But doesn’t South Africa wear the pink jersey in ODI matches? Yes, they do.

But since there’s no ODI scheduled at home in the 2025-26 season, the Proteas will instead don the pink jersey in the third T20I.
