
The ECB awarded central contracts to 17 women cricketers for the 2025-26 season. Their contracts run from October 2025 to September 2026.
Linsey Smith is the only new entrant this season, while experienced seamer Kate Cross missed out on a contract.

England Women Cricketers with Central Contracts and Salaries
The ECB offers two types of central contracts: two-year and one-year. Seven players have entered the second year of their two-year contracts. The other 10 have been given one-year contracts.
Additionally, the ECB has handed out skills contracts to four players, with Em Arlott and Emma Lamb as the newcomers.

England women cricketers with central contracts earn between £90,000 (approx. INR 1.10 crore) and £130,000 (approx. INR 1.60 crore) annually.

On top of their annual salaries, England women cricketers also receive match fees for every international appearance.
Here’s the match fee structure for every format:
Women’s Test: £12,500 (approx. INR 15 lakh)
Women’s ODI: £5,000 (approx. INR 6 lakh)
Women’s T20I: £3,500 (approx. INR 4 lakh)
