After a disappointing South Africa tour, India women will be back on the road in late May 2026. 

They will embark on the England tour. It’s a long tour, comprising plenty of T20I action and a historic one-off Test.

So when does the India women’s tour of England begin?

India start the tour on May 28, 2026, with the first T20I against hosts England. The match is in Chelmsford at 6:30 PM local time (11:00 PM IST).

How many matches will be played?

The bilateral series comprises three T20Is and a one-off Test. The T20Is will help India prepare for the T20 World Cup 2026 scheduled in England in June-July 2026.

Which venues will host the series?

Both teams will travel to four venues across England. Chelmsford, Bristol and Taunton will host T20Is, while the iconic Lord’s will stage the red-ball encounter.

What’s the full schedule for India women’s tour of England 2026?

After the first T20I in Chelmsford, both teams will move to Bristol for the second game on May 30. Taunton will close out the series on June 2.

After a month-long T20 World Cup campaign, England and India will square off in the one-off Test at Lord’s starting July 10. It’s a four-day fixture. Notably, this will be the first women’s Test at Lord’s.

What are the squads?

England revealed an experienced T20I squad under Nat Sciver-Brunt’s leadership. Charlie Dean will be her deputy in the shortest format.

England have included a young spinner, Tilly Corteen-Coleman, in their spin-heavy lineup. Dean, Sophie Ecclestone and Linsey Smith are the other tweakers in the squad.

Lauren Bell leads their pace attack, along with Lauren Filer and Issy Wong. The hosts have veteran batters in Heather Knight and Danni Wyatt-Hodge.

Nandani Sharma is the most notable inclusion, with the pacer earning her maiden national call-up. She features in both squads.

Radha Yadav returns to the T20I setup, while Yastika Bhatia slots in both squads after recovering from a long-term injury.

Radha forms a spin quartet with Deepti Sharma, Shreyanka Patil and Shree Charani. Renuka Singh, meanwhile, spearheads the pace department, which also includes Kranti Gaud and Arundhati Reddy.

Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh and Bharti Fulmali form the core batting line-up.
