New Zealand Men’s & Women’s Cricket Team Schedule for 2025-26 Home Season

New Zealand is all set to witness bumper cricket action in the 2025-26 season. Their men’s and women’s teams will engage in intense bilateral series.

The Blackcaps, in particular, will play 25 games across formats in the peak summer. And the women’s team will feature in 14 matches.

Heavyweights like Australia, England, the West Indies, and South Africa will touch down in New Zealand this season.

New Zealand Women’s Schedule for 2025-26 Home Season

New Zealand women have two white-ball series lined up in the 2025-26 home season. They will take on Zimbabwe women and South Africa women in the first half of 2026.

New Zealand Women vs Zimbabwe Women | Feb-Mar 2026

Zimbabwe women will be the first to arrive. This will be their first tour of the island nation.

The White Ferns will host them for three T20Is and three ODIs, the first between the two teams.

Hamilton will stage the entire T20I leg, which starts on February 25, 2026. The second T20I will take place on February 27, followed by the third on March 1.

Then both teams will move to Dunedin for the ODI leg. The first one-dayer will take place on March 5. The second ODI will be on March 8, while the third will follow on March 11.

New Zealand Women vs South Africa Women | Mar-Apr 2026

New Zealand women will make a quick turnaround to host the Proteas women. Both sides will face off in five T20Is and three ODIs.

The T20I leg, in particular, will be crucial ahead of the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup. Both teams will look to fine-tune their preparations for the big event.

The T20I series will get underway on March 15 in Mount Maunganui. The White Ferns will be back in Hamilton for the second T20I on March 17 before they move to Auckland for the third on March 20.

Wellington will stage the fourth T20I on March 22, while the last game will take place in Christchurch on March 25.

The ODI series will also start in Christchurch on March 29. Then both teams will travel back to Wellington for the next two ODIs.

The Blackcaps will be up against four opponents in the 2025-26 home season. They will play three limited-overs series, while one will be an all-format series.

New Zealand vs Australia | Oct 2025

Australia will squeeze a few days from their tight home summer fixtures to tour New Zealand. The two trans-Tasman rivals will play a short T20I series.

The first T20I will take place on October 1, followed by two consecutive games on October 3 and 4. Mount Maunganui will host the entire series.

New Zealand vs England | Oct-Nov 2025

A couple of weeks later, England will arrive for a white-ball series. The itinerary comprises three T20Is and as many one-dayers.

The series will kick off with T20Is, with the first one scheduled on October 18, while the second will be on October 20. Christchurch will host both games. The last T20I will be on October 23 in Auckland.

Then the ODIs will start on October 26 in Mount Maunganui. The second one-dayer will take place in Hamilton on October 29. And the series will conclude in Wellington on November 1.

New Zealand vs West Indies | Nov-Dec 2025

Three days later, the Blackcaps will start a multi-format series against the West Indies. Both teams will square off in five T20Is, three ODIs, and three Tests.

First up will be the 20-over games. The first two will take place in Auckland on November 5 and 6. Nelson will stage the next two on November 9 and 10. The last one will be in Dunedin on November 13.

Christchurch will stage the first ODI on November 16. The second 50-over game will take place in Napier on November 19. And the final ODI will be in Hamilton on November 22.

The Kiwis will be back in Christchurch for the first Test, which starts on December 2. Wellington will host the second Test from December 10 onwards.

The series will conclude with the third Test in Mount Maunganui starting on December 18. The series is part of the current WTC cycle.
