Australia’s T20 World Cup-winning captain, Aaron Finch, has played for the most IPL teams in the tournament. Finch featured in 92 IPL matches, scoring 2091 runs, including 15 half-centuries.

He represented 9 teams throughout his IPL career, from the Rajasthan Royals (RR) to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). 

Jaydev Unadkat | 8 IPL Teams

Jaydev Unadkat is a force on the Indian domestic circuit and has done well in the IPL as well. The Saurashtra bowler has picked up 90+ wickets in the league.

The left-arm pacer started his IPL journey with the KKR in 2010 and went on to represent 7 more teams.

Manish Pandey | 7 IPL Teams

Manish Pandey became the first Indian player to notch up a hundred in the IPL in 2009. The Karnataka batter has appeared in 170+ IPL matches, accumulating more than 3800 runs.

Pandey was part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the first season and has played for 7 teams in total. His stints at KKR and SRH were the most successful, with Pandey playing a crucial role in KKR winning the title in 2014. 

Dinesh Karthik | 6 IPL Teams

Dinesh Karthik has been on the radars of many teams and, thus far, has had an incredible career in the league. The keeper-batter has featured in 240+ matches and has shown his flair for hitting big runs.

Karthik has amassed more than 4500 runs in the tournament by representing 6 different teams. Moreover, he was at the helm of KKR between 2018 and 2020. 

Robin Uthappa | 6 IPL Teams

Robin Uthappa, similar to his Karnataka teammate Manish Pandey, started his IPL career with the MI in the inaugural season. The right-hand batter played 205 matches, scoring 4952 runs, including 27 fifties.

Uthappa played a key role in KKR’s 2014 IPL title win, as he garnered 660 runs and won the Orange Cap. In 2021, he was part of the title-winning CSK team, and he bid adieu to the IPL by playing his last season with them in 2022.
