The much-awaited schedule for the IPL 2024 season is out, and excitement levels are going through the roof. The 17th IPL season will take place from March 22 to May 26, 2024.

Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will play against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening match on March 22 in Chennai.

Later, the loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of Eliminator will take on each other in Qualifier 2 to qualify for the Final. The winners of Qualifiers 1 and 2 will then fight out in the summit clash to claim the IPL trophy.

In all, 13 venues will host 74 matches, including Vizag, Dharamsala, and Guwahati (2 matches each). Delhi Capitals will play 2 of their 7 home matches in Vizag. Similarly, Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals will play their 2 home games in Dharamsala and Guwahati, respectively.
