When does the West Indies vs Pakistan Test series 2026 start?
The red-ball series will begin on July 25, 2026. Both teams will square off in the first Test in Tarouba starting at 10:00 AM local time (7:30 PM IST).
Before the series starts, Pakistan will play a four-day tour match against the West Indies Select XI. The match will take place between July 18 and 21 in Tarouba.
How many Tests will both teams play?
It’s a two-Test series, which is part of the current WTC cycle. The West Indies recently won their first Test of the cycle against Sri Lanka, while Pakistan are coming off two series losses against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Both teams are at the bottom of the nine-team points table.
Which venues will host the Tests?
The entire series will take place across two venues in Trinidad. Tarouba and Port of Spain will share the hosting duties.

What are the squads?
Pakistan were the first to announce the touring party. In a surprising move, Babar Azam has been handed the captaincy charge once again. He replaces Shan Masood in the role.
Besides that, there have been a few notable exclusions. Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hasan Ali and Noman Ali didn’t find a place in the squad.
Meanwhile, Ubaid Shah, Ali Usman and Awais Zafar have received maiden call-ups to the squad.
