Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will start the series on March 13, 2026. They will lock horns in the first T20I in Sharjah at 6:30 PM local time (8:00 PM IST).

Both teams will play six matches in total. There are three T20Is and three ODIs.
Which venues will host the matches?
The series is spread across two venues in the UAE. Sharjah will host all T20Is, while Dubai will stage the ODI leg.

After the series opener, the second T20I will take place on March 15, with the third on March 17.

What are the squads?
Afghanistan have announced their squad for T20Is and ODIs. In a surprising move, Afghanistan have appointed Ibrahim Zadran as their new T20I skipper.
Zadran replaces Rashid Khan in the role. Hashmatullah Shahidi, meanwhile, continues to lead the Afghan Atalans in ODIs.
Most of the regulars have retained their spots, though they have introduced a few new faces. Noor ul Rahman, Sharafuddin Ashraf and Fareed Malik are among the fresh faces.
