ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup 2025: Schedule, Teams, Squads, Venues, & Broadcast Details

Another Asia Cup is on the cards in 2025. But this time, the young lads will be in action.

The Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup returns for its 12th edition in December 2025. The tournament takes place in the lead-up to the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026. 

So here’s everything you need to know about the youth cricket tournament.

When and where does the U19 Asia Cup 2025 start?

The U19 Asia Cup 2025 will start on December 12 in Dubai. India U19 will take on the UAE U19 in the tournament opener starting at 9:00 AM local time (10:30 AM IST). 

Another match will start at the same time, featuring Pakistan U19 and Malaysia U19. The Malaysian youth side returns to the tournament after eight years.

How many teams will participate in the U19 Asia Cup 2025?

A total of eight youth teams will feature in this edition. Apart from the above four, Afghanistan U19, Bangladesh U19, Nepal U19, and Sri Lanka U19 are the other teams.

Malaysia U19, Nepal U19, and UAE U19 qualified from the U19 Premier Cup. UAE U19 were the champions of the tournament, while Nepal U19 ended up as runners-up. Malaysia U19, meanwhile, finished in third spot.

All eight teams have been split into two groups of four each.

What is the format of the U19 Asia Cup 2025?

So things are pretty simple. Each under-19 team faces their other three group members once in a single round-robin format. So that’s three matches per side.

Once the group stage concludes, the top two teams from both groups advance to the semi-finals. 

The Group A toppers will take on the No. 2 team from Group B in the first semi-final. The other semi-final will feature the second-placed team from Group A against the Group B toppers.

Then, the winners from both semi-finals will lock horns in the final to conclude the tournament.

Where will the U19 Asia Cup matches take place?

While Afghanistan are the official host, Dubai is set to host all the action across two venues. 

The ICC Academy Ground will host eight matches, including a semi-final and the final. The Sevens Stadium will stage seven matches, including a semi-final.

What’s the complete schedule for the U19 Asia Cup 2025?

The tournament runs from December 12 to 21, 2025. It’s a 10-day affair, with 15 matches in total.

The league stage comprises 12 matches played till December 17. The semi-finals will take place on December 19, followed by the final on December 21.
