Have Australia and India announced squads?

Mitchell Marsh will continue to lead Australia in ODIs in the absence of Pat Cummins. That means Cummins will miss another series due to his recovery from an injury.

But Mitchell Starc is back in the ODI squad to lead their pace attack, while Marnus Labuschagne makes way for Matt Renshaw.

Josh Inglish has returned to both squads after recovering from the calf strain. Matthew Short also returns to the ODI after missing out on the South Africa series with a side strain.

Mitchell Marsh (c), Xavier Bartlett, Alex Carey (wk), Cooper Connolly, Ben Dwarshuis, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis (wk), Mitchell Owen, Matt Renshaw, Matthew Short, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa

India revealed their touring party on October 4, 2025. In a surprising move, the selectors handed over the ODI captaincy to Shubman Gill, with the former skipper Rohit Sharma purely picked as a batter.

Shreyas Iyer, who delivered a superb performance in the 2025 Champions Trophy, has been elevated as vice captain. Virat Kohli, meanwhile, has retained his spot along with Sharma.

Most of the ODI squad is similar to that of the victorious Champions Trophy campaign, with a few changes. Ravindra Jadeja, though, has been left out of the ODI squad, while Jasprit Bumrah has been rested.

In T20Is, Suryakumar Yadav continues to lead. He will spearhead the same lineup that featured in the 2025 Asia Cup. The only additions are Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar.

Shubman Gill (c), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer (vc), Axar Patel, KL Rahul (wk), Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshit Rana, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Dhruv Jurel (wk), Yashasvi Jaiswal.
