The West Indies finished the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23 cycle in the 8th spot. However, they will look to turn their fortunes around in the upcoming ICC WTC 2023-25 schedule.
The West Indies will start their WTC 23-25 cycle by squaring off against India in a 2-match Test series at home.
West Indies’ Performance in WTC 21-23
The West Indies had started their WTC 21-23 campaign by defeating Pakistan by 1 wicket in the first match. But they couldn’t win matches consistently.
The Caribbean team played 13 Test matches. They could only manage to win 4 Tests, registering 7 losses and 2 draws.
Out of six Test series, they won two against Bangladesh by 2-0 (2) and England by 1-0 (3), respectively. On the other hand, they lost three series against Australia by 2-0 (2), South Africa by 2-0 (2), and Sri Lanka by 2-0 (2). And the Windies managed to draw one series against Pakistan 1-1 (2).
Due to their dismal performance, they ended up in 8th place on the points table.

West Indies’ WTC 2023-25 Schedule
The West Indies are scheduled to play six Test series in the WTC 2023-25 cycle. This schedule includes three home and three away series over the next two years.
The West Indies will play against India, South Africa, and Bangladesh at home, while they will take on Australia, Pakistan, and England in the away series.

West Indies vs India

The West Indies will face South Africa in a 2-match Test series. This series will take place in August 2024.

The West Indies will play their last home series against Bangladesh. This series includes two Tests and will take place between November and December 2024.

Away Series
Australia vs West Indies
The West Indies will fly to Australia to play a 2-match Test series. The series will begin in January 2024.

Pakistan vs West Indies
Then the Caribbean team will square off against Pakistan in a 2-match Test series. This series will take place between February and March 2024.
