When does The Hundred Women’s 2026 begin?
The seventh edition of The Hundred Women’s will get underway on July 21, 2026. MI London will be up against Sunrisers Leeds in the season opener at The Oval. The game starts at 2:45 PM local time (7:15 PM IST).
What’s new this season?
There are plenty of changes in terms of ownership. Last year, the ECB sold stakes in all eight franchises, with some counties retaining some percentage of shares and selling the remaining to private investors.
So which teams are participating in The Hundred Women’s 2026?
As usual, eight teams will feature, with three teams having new identities.

Is the format the same as the previous season?
Yes. The format remains the same, with each team playing eight league stage games.
Each team will face six teams once and take on one regional opponent twice in the league.
Following the league stage, the top team will advance to the final. The Nos. 2 and 3 teams will lock horns in the eliminator to seal the other spot in the final.
How many matches will take place in The Hundred Women’s 2026?
The season features a total of 34 matches. The league stage consists of 32 games, with the other two being the eliminator and the final.
Which venues will host The Hundred Women’s 2026?
A total of eight venues in England will host the tournament. Four matches will take place at each ground.
