The tri-series begins on June 9, 2026. Sri Lanka A will square off against India A in the opening fixture starting at 10:00 AM IST.
What’s the format of the tri-series?
The series features a double round-robin format. So each team faces the other twice, playing four matches. The top two teams with the most points will then lock horns in the tri-series final.
Which venues will host the tri-series?
The entire A nation tri-series will take place at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla.

What are the squads?
India were the first to announce their squad. Tilak Varma will lead the team, while Riyan Parag will be his deputy.
Young sensation, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, is likely to open alongside Priyansh Arya. The team features a strong lineup of all-rounders in Ayush Badoni, Vipraj Nigam and Nishant Sindhu.
Prabhsimran Singh and Kumar Kushagra are the two wicketkeepers in the squad. Anshul Kamboj, meanwhile, leads the pace attack along with Yash Thakur, Yudhvir Singh and Arshad Khan.
