The tournament returns for its third edition in August-September 2026.

When does the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026 start?
The third edition begins on August 30, 2026. Oman will take on Singapore in the tournament opener in Kuala Lumpur at 9:30 AM local time (7:00 AM IST).
At the same time, the second match will see Hong Kong square off against Saudi Arabia in Bangi.
How many teams are in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026?
It’s a 10-team tournament. Bahrain, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Qatar and the UAE are the other six teams.
Are the teams divided into groups?
Yes. There are two groups of five teams each.

What’s the format of the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026?
First of all, the tournament returns in 50-over format, with the 2024 edition played in T20Is.
While the matches are of 50 overs, most of them will carry List A status. Only the matches played between two teams with ODI status will count as ODIs.
Speaking of the group stage, it follows a single round-robin format. So teams will face their group opponents once.
The top two teams from both groups will qualify for the semi-finals. Group A toppers will take on the second-placed Group B team in the first semi-final, while the Group B toppers will lock horns against the second-placed Group A team in the other semi-final.
The losers of both semis will play in the third-place playoff. And the final of the tournament will see both semi-final winners face each other. The winner between them will seal a slot in the Men’s Asia Cup 2027.
How many matches will take place in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026?
The tournament will see a total of 24 matches, including 20 group-stage games. The other four are part of the knockouts.
Which venues will host the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026?
Two venues across Malaysia will host the tournament. Kuala Lumpur and Bangi will share equal hosting duties, staging 12 games each.
