Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh (Away)

Bangladesh commenced their WTC 2025-27 cycle with the tour of Sri Lanka. They faced the Lankan Lions in a two-Test series in June 2025.

The series started with a draw at Galle between June 17 and 21. Then the series moved to Colombo (SSC) on June 25.

Bangladesh vs Pakistan (Home)

The last WTC edition saw Bangladesh beat Pakistan for the first time in a Test series. This historic event unfolded on Pakistan’s soil.

Now the Bangla Tigers will host Pakistan in March 2026. It will be a two-match Test series.

While Bangladesh conquered Pakistan’s territory, they are yet to defeat the visitors in their own backyard. So they would like to draw inspiration from the 2-0 victory in 2024.

Australia vs Bangladesh (Away)

In August 2026, Bangladesh will embark on a historic overseas tour. The Bangla Tigers will head to Australia for a two-match Test series.

This will be their first trip down under since 2003. Their last tour ended with a rather expected result of 0-2. But their last meeting in Bangladesh in 2017 saw the hosts hold a 1-1 draw with the Aussies.

Bangladesh vs West Indies (Home)

Once back home, Bangladesh will gear up for their second home series of this cycle. They will play host to the West Indies.

Both sides will lock horns in a two-match Test series in October 2026. The last time both teams played in Bangladesh, in 2021, the visitors went home with a 2-0 victory.

South Africa vs Bangladesh (Away)

Bangladesh will touch down in South Africa for their last away series. They will play against the new WTC champions in a two-Test series. The series will take place in November 2026.

Bangladesh haven’t yet defeated South Africa in a Test match, let alone a series. Their last visit in 2022 culminated in a 0-2 defeat.

Bangladesh vs England (Home)

In February 2027, Bangladesh will welcome England for their last series of the WTC 2025-27 cycle. The series will feature two Test matches.

This will be England’s first trip to Bangladesh in more than a decade. The last series between both sides here in 2016 ended in a thrilling 1-1 draw. We can expect a similar result once again.
