The series will get off the mark at Headingley, with the second scheduled at Birmingham. Lord’s will host the third match, while Old Trafford and The Oval will stage the next two Tests.
The last time these two sides met in England, the series ended in a 2-2 draw. India were pretty close to scripting a series win.
Australia vs England (Away) – The Ashes
The most-awaited Test series will be back on Australian shores. England will travel down under to reclaim the Ashes. It’s been a decade since England won the Ashes.
The Ashes 2025/26 will get underway on November 21 in Perth. Brisbane and Adelaide will host the second and third matches, respectively.
The Boxing Day Test will follow in Melbourne, with Sydney set to host the New Year Test in January 2027.
England returned with empty hands on their last three tours. So McCullum and Stokes have a massive challenge ahead of them.
England vs New Zealand (Home) – Crowe-Thorpe Trophy
England will open their 2026 home summer with a three-match Test series against the Kiwis. Both teams will compete for the Crowe-Thorpe Trophy, introduced in 2024.
The last meeting between these teams in England saw the home side dominate. England whitewashed the Kiwis to take the series 3-0 in 2022.
England vs Pakistan (Home)
England will take on Pakistan in their second assignment of the 2026 summer. This marks the first home series for England against Pakistan after their back-to-back Pakistan tours.
England and Pakistan will square off in three Tests across August and September 2026. Their previous encounter in England in 2020 saw the hosts bag the series 1-0.
South Africa vs England (Away) – Basil D’Oliveira Trophy
After their busy home summer, England will touch down in South Africa. It will be another three-match series in December 2026.
This will be England’s first South Africa tour since 2019. In their last South Africa tour, they beat the hosts 3-1.
Bangladesh vs England (Away)
England’s last WTC 2025-27 series will be in Bangladesh. They will meet Bangladesh in a two-match series.
The Englishmen won’t have it easy in the spin-friendly conditions. The last time England toured Bangladesh, they returned with a 1-1 draw.
