The ODI series starts three days after the T20I tri-series final. So Namibia and South Africa will play the first ODI on September 9 at 9:30 AM local time (1:00 PM IST).
Is it the first ODI between Namibia and South Africa?
Yes. This is the first time both sides will face each other in ODIs. And this comes after the first T20I played in October 2025, which Namibia won.
So it will be interesting to see if Namibia repeat the same in the first one-dayer.
Is it another one-off contest?
No. Unlike last year’s one-off T20I, this is a full three-match ODI series. The series comes ahead of next year’s Cricket World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the two countries.
